Featured Work

This is one of my favorites. A sitting nude female seen from behind, brown outlines with a mauve background. The mauve ranges from more purple to more red. I'm not happy with the photos I have, but I think this painting is too good to wait until I get more done. I have done the best I could to get the colors right in the photograph, but overall I'm not fully happy. I think the skin tone loses a little of the flesh tones. I think the brown ocher is too light in some areas and too dark in others. Im not too happy with the tones of the background either. I do have additional photos you can email me for. I just dont think that the full beauty of the painting is caught in the photograph. I have signed/dated with the year on the bottom left. This is an original oil painting, no prints or copies made.
